Douglas Emmett Obtains $510 Million Term Loan Fixed at 4.12%

SANTA MONICA, Calif.--()--Douglas Emmett, Inc. (NYSE: DEI), a real estate investment trust (REIT), announced that it has closed a seven-year secured non-recourse $510 million term loan to refinance existing debt. The loan is payable interest only and matures on April 1, 2018. The Company has effectively fixed the floating interest rate on the loan at 4.12% per annum until April 1, 2016 through an interest rate swap contract.
